This morning, Avery dumped an entire bottle of maple syrup on the floor and rolled in it. For awhile she couldn't stand up and walk away because both she and the floor were covered in slippery syrup. I had to put her in the sink like a dirty dish before I could finish wiping up her mess.
And yes, that is maple syrup on her face. Here she is, drying off with a dish towel:
Then she decided she didn't need no stinking dish towel!
The nice thing about Avery's destructive behavior is that it tires her out. She went down without a whimper tonight, and I am looking forward to her sleeping until at least 7am. She loves her beauty sleep!
